Hills of Plenty Winery is a very small Yarra Valley winery on the hills above the Plenty River at Yarrambat. This is a picturesque part of Victoria, Australia and has the convenience of close proximity to Melbourne, in fact we are only 40 minutes drive from the CBD, just outside the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

Winemaker, Karen Coulston, operates Hills of Plenty Winery from her home where she has a small vineyard. However most of the fruit for her wines is sourced from other select, small, cool climate, Victorian vineyards.

Everything is in miniature at Hills of Plenty - small vineyard, press, tanks, pumps, filters, winery space - but all state of the art in stainless steel and high technology.

Karen specialises in small batch (1-2 tonne) production of varietal wines for the Hills of Plenty label at Yarrambat but also makes wine for other people, processing their fruit at their locations with her equipment and/or expertise.

Varietal wines at Hills of Plenty include Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

Visitors to the winery are welcome by appointment or by open invitation to monthly tastings on the last Sunday of each month from 12 to 5pm. Wine sales can be made at any time directly from the winery or through the mailing list and telephone / fax orders.
